Our methodology brings together music, dance, oral tradition, instrument-making, cooking, and other expressions of intangible cultural heritage with training, collaborative creation, circulation, and intergenerational transmission.
How we do it
Our methodology in three steps
WE CREATE
We co-create immersive experiences with knowledge-bearers of the Pacific: concerts, gastronomic workshops, sound walks, and more. Each experience is a bridge between cultures and a source of dignified income for those who lead them.
WE TRAIN
We train Afro-Colombian youth and cultural leaders in the design, management, and execution of cultural experiences. We give them tools to turn their talent into sustainable economic opportunities.
WE CONNECT
We activate networks with strategic allies, companies, and organizations that value cultural diversity. We facilitate access to training, funding, and dissemination, amplifying the impact of every experience.

Music
Marimba de chonta, cununos, guasás, and bombos: repertoires and knowledge learned in juntanza (communal gathering).
Dance
Currulao and traditional dances as a living memory of body and territory.
Oral tradition
Arrullos, décimas, storytelling, and narratives that sustain the history of the communities.
Instrument making
Traditional lutherie crafts passed down by master builders of the Pacific.
Cooking
Culinary knowledge, local products, and practices that bring together table, river, and forest.

Medicinal, festive, and spiritual practices of intangible cultural heritage.

A community-led approach
We work with a community-led approach: organizations and knowledge-bearers in the territory define the content, lead the training, and receive economic recognition for their knowledge. Our role is to accompany, connect partners, and open spaces for circulation.
